Freedom Weekend- at the Shellsville VFW grounds. May 5 and 6, come camp out and enjoy the weekend, then join us Monday morning May 7, for the Rights Rally to be held at noon in the rotunda of the state capitol. This years rally has a lot happening and you don’t want to miss it. Here is a few of the speakers that we have lined up for you: Lieutenant Governor Jim Crowley, Speaker of the House Sam Smith, Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi, and President and CEO of the American Motorcyclist Association Rob Dingman, MRF Vice President of Government Relations and Public Affairs Jeff Hennie, and more. Come to the Capitol for the Rights Rally and show your support for the freedoms we all enjoy here in Pennsylvania. This marks 35 years of fighting for Motorcyclists rights. Hazen- June 15-17. Buy your tickets in advance, and save $10 on admission. This is our only state fundraiser, and we need your support. By the time you read this, the primaries will be over, and you should know who all the candidates will be in the general election. As I have to write this a month before you read it, I do not know the outcome at this time. After the primaries, the fun begins! You can go to the ABATEPA.org, and get a BikePAC questionnaire form (Upper right corner). Use this form to give to the candidates in your area. Get involved in the candidates’ campaigns. Help put up and take down yard signs, go door to door for the candidate handing out fliers, help stuff envelopes, and work with the candidate and their campaign director. Just get involved! Other News- Look in newsletter for more information on “Bikers in the Beltway” Meeting places; date, and times. Michigan has gotten a helmet modification bill to their Governor waiting on action.
